Once a Week

My everyday blogging has turned into once a week blogging. I guess I will just do the best I can. This past week I went to Pocatello to meet Darla for her birthday. We went to lunch at a restaurant called Butterburrs and had a good visit.
On Saturday we had a track meet in Logan, a track meet at Davis and the Morp dance for Allyson and Karlee. BUSY Day.
Sunday, we had our annual Boat Float. We had a great time kicking off spring.
Monday, Brian and I went up to Smoot Wyoming to check out Camp Many Stars where we will be going for girls camp this year. We are going to be doing service and finishing three cabins. I was a bit overwhelmed by the place, it is a good thing I have Brian to calm me down and make life seem manageable.
Tuesday, I delivered Secretary gifts for the Secretaries and Aides and Snowcrest and Valley Elementary. I had a good time making this year's gifts.
Today is Wednesday and I just got home from work. It is my favorite time of the week...Wednesday right after work.

Third Book in the These is My Words Series

Maxine sent this book to me in the mail a while ago and I just barely had the chance to read it. Once again I really liked it. This is the third book and after finishing it I think there needs to be a fourth one. We will see if she writes another one.

I love to see the Temple

Brian and I were able to go to the temple and do sealings. It was a really good experience. I love to go and feel the peace that I feel there.

Chores

Dustin has been feeding Grandpa's animals for the past few weeks while they have been in Scotland. He has been so responsible about going down and throwing the hay out of the loft to all the horses. This has been a very good thing for him.
He has been wanting to ride Kanga again.. I bet he can learn to saddle her and ride all by himself.

Aebelskivers

I ran into a friend while I was grocery shopping and she had these pans in her cart. I asked her about them and she told me they were Aebelskiver pans. She told me how much her family loves them so I decided to buy a pan and make them for my family. They were a hit!

The Last Song...it was a good movie but I liked the book better!

Good to see Grandma and Grandpa Deeter

Catch Up Time!!!

Ok, so I haven't been too good at the everyday blogging thing but I will work on being better. It has been Spring Break this past week but it has felt more like winter. Crazy!!!
We had dentist and doctors appointments on Thursday and right after Ally's doctor appt. we headed down to La Sal to visit with Brian's family.
We had a good visit for a few days. We went on a hike and out to Anticline Overlook (that is really pretty cool!)played games, and had an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids love hunting for eggs out there because of all the cool holes that make great hiding places for eggs.
We drove back and missed the first session of general conference because we couldn't get reception. When we got home the first session didn't record either so I will wait until I can get it on the internet. Brian did go to the Priesthood session and then on Sunday we watched both sessions as a family. I love to hear the Prophets and Apostles speak and it always makes me a little sad when it is over because we are so richly fed for those two days.
I have also been working on Student Body Office posters for Lynzi and Parker Hansen. This is the big voting week. Fun times.
Today, Allyson drove to UVU and met with her Honor's Program to get signed up for classes. Karlee, Lynzi, Dustin and I went to the movie "The Last Song". It was a good show but I have a headache right now from all of the crying.
Spring Break 2010 was better than it has ever been!!!
